BODY

BREATHE

I use my breath or meditation to calm myself when I feel stressed.

I minimise my exposure to pollution. I am aware of and avoid toxic smells.

SLEEP

I find it easy to fall asleep, stay asleep. I wake feeling well-rested.

I make sure that I usually go to bed early and that my sleep environment supports me to feel calm.

NOURISHMENT

Almost every day I eat a range of different colourful fruit (2+ serves), vegetables (5+ serves) and drink several glasses of water & minimise drinking sweetened or diet drinks.

I minimise the amount of processed and fast food that I eat (E.g.: deep-fried crisps, candy bars), soft drinks, caffeine and other stimulants (coffee, coke, energy drinks).

MOVE

I am active and exercise regularly increasing my heart rate for more than 30 minutes at least four times a week.

I take breaks to stand and stretch after sitting for more than two hours.

TOXIN-FREE

I feel confident in my ability to detect and avoid toxins.

I neither smoke nor take drugs.

BREATHE

SAFETY

 

STRESS-LESS

I’m able to calm myself down when I feel stress taking over.

When I feel stressed, I avoid making important decisions that can be made at a better time.

BOUNDARIES

I feel comfortable saying no to others if I don’t want to do something.

I know how to set a boundary by telling someone if I am upset because they have treated me poorly.

STAYING SAFE

I know how to protect myself when I’m mistreated or abused by other people.

I am cautious of my online safety and aware that strangers online are not always as they seem.

TRUST & INTUITION

I use my intuition to make decisions, and I trust that it guides me well.

When I share my personal stories, I choose people I trust to listen.

SELF-CARE

Rather than considering only what is good for others, I like to ensure I consider what is also good for me.

When I make a mistake I know how to be kind and forgive myself for being imperfect.

SUPPORT

I am good at recognising when I need support and seeking it by asking others.

I feel confident I have a good support network.

CONNECT

SELF-REGULATE

I am aware of my negative inner voice and know how to focus more on my strengths.

I can step back and see that there is a potential upside of almost any situation.

SELF-AWARENESS

I am aware when I must adapt my words and actions to reduce negative impact on others.

 

I am able to recognise what emotions I am feeling and what may have triggered them.

ASSERTIVE

When I make a mistake I know how to be kind and forgive myself for being imperfect.

Rather than considering only what is good for others, I like to ensure I consider what is also good for me.

I am able to assert myself and take the lead.

I know how to show others that I care for them.

PASSION, PLAY & LOVE

When I am clumsy, I am able to see the humour and laugh at myself.

I regularly do things I am passionate about.

PEOPLE SKILLS

I know how to communicate with others where I can say what I mean without being unkind.

I feel I have the skills to ask a wide range of questions and the confidence to do so.

NATURAL WORLD

I take time out to appreciate nature.

I appreciate animals and can experience the therapeutic benefits they bring.

MIND

ACCEPTANCE

I have a clear self-identity.

I am true to my values.

CURIOSITY

I know how to do research, find resources and get answers to things I need to know.

When I meet someone I am able to notice and respond well to their body language.

MINDFULNESS

I can usually remain focused on the people I am with or the activities I need to do.

I know how to meditate and do this regularly.

POSITIVITY

I focus on things I am grateful for on a regular basis through writing or reflection.

I can step back and see that there is a potential upside of almost any situation.

ORGANISATION

I feel I am organised in the things I do, the work I have and the place I live.

I manage my money well and pay bills on time.

SHINE

GRATITUDE

I feel gratitude for the things I have in my life.

I feel comfortable expressing gratitude to others regularly.

CREATIVITY

I like to come up with new ideas and think outside the box.

I do activities where I use my imagination and creativity as much as I would like to.

CONTRIBUTE

I like to volunteer or do community activities (E.g. donate time to charity, attend events).

I am a team player and like to contribute my part at work or home (e.g. cleaning up, etc.).

PURPOSE

I participate in activities/work that give me a strong sense of purpose.

I feel I have goals I would like to fulfil in life and am motivated to achieve them.

CHANGEMAKER

I am willing to use my time to change something I believe in.

I am willing to take risks even if I fail.
